Waste Management, LLC is the curbside trash removal
provider for The Meadows Neighborhood Company.

Two 96-gallon trash containers and two 96- gallon recycle container are provided to you and the service is included in your HOA assessment.
Should you have need for an additional container please email  mweyand@meadowslink.com to make the request.

Please have your trash out by 7:00 a.m. on collection day and put away that evening.

Your service day is Friday of each week.*

*If a holiday or snow day occurs , trash pickup will be on Saturday that week.
Holidays observed by Waste Management include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.

Place your containers in the street against the curb, and NOT on the sidewalk.

HOA Covenant Regarding Trash Restrictions

In accordance with Section 9.7 "Restrictions on Garbage and Trash" of the Community Declaration, trash containers are to be placed the morning of trash collection and put away that evening, after trash has been collected. Trash containers must be stored in the back or side yard of the house, behind the fence.

Town Ordinance on Blocking Sidewalk

9.04.040 Blocking streets and sidewalks.
It shall be unlawful for any person or group of persons to block a public street or in any way
restrict foot or vehicular traffic on public streets or sidewalks or to trample upon or injure or usurp the
rights or property of other persons. (Ord. 5.17 §3, 1968)  

Special or Large Items

If you have any special or large items like furniture, appliances, or construction debris, please call Waste Management at: 303-797-1600 to arrange for a special curb side pickup. Customers will be billed separately for special pickups. There may be appliance recyclers available to pickup used appliances at no charge.

Other Information

1. Cardboard boxes must be broken down or flattened. Better yet, recycle your moving boxes. Moving boxes many times can be recycled back to moving companies. Consider giving your moving company a call before throwing moving boxes away.

 2. Remember! Trash haulers are not permitted to accept hazardous waste material or liquids. Examples of common household hazardous wastes are: paint, motor oil, ammunition, pesticides, herbicides, hot coals, propane tanks, gasoline, kerosene, or other caustic materials.
