Xeriscaping

Curious about Xeriscaping?

Xeriscaping is a form of landscaping that will take planning and research and The Meadows and the Town of Castle Rock would like to assist you by providing several resources so that interested residents can learn more and get started.

The Town of Castle Rock's Xeriscape page on their website has some great information as well as the locations of the Xeriscape Demonstration Gardens in Castle Rock and also links to other websites with even more information.

Xeriscaping is permitted by The Meadows Neighborhood Company (MNC), however prior written approval is required. Visit the
Architectural Review Information page on MeadowsLink.com to learn more about submitting an Architectural Review Application and about the process. In addition, MNC Community Manager Russell Haigh has obtained several articles and books about Xeriscaping that he is more than willing to share with interested homeowners. The books are located at The Grange and contain plans, plant lists and more.  Send Russell an email at or call at 303.814.3958 if you would like to review the books.
