Plans for Phase Two Announced
Centura Health recently announced plans to expand its Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus to include a 212,000-square-foot, full-service hospital. The $128 million, phase two campus expansion is expected to open in the Summer of 2013. It will house 50 licensed beds and a full complement of hospital services including intensive care, medical/surgical, obstetrics, orthopedics and cardiology. When both phases are complete, the project is expected to bring more than 300 new jobs to the Castle Rock community. “The original plan was to expand our Castle Rock campus to include a full-service hospital in three to five years. But, the level of interest, excitement, and support for this project within the community has been so overwhelming we decided to immediately move forward with the hospital phase of the project,” said Gary Campbell, president and CEO of Centura Health.
